We gather on Sunday at 10:30 at the Jordan home 5209 West Oaks Drive Fuquay-Varina.
We gather for fellowship and to give Jesus preeminence in an open and participatory way. We focus on being sensitive to the Holy Spirit moving through each one to encourage and build each other up, the edification of all, and equipping each for His purpose in, Him, and being drawn to the worship and the mission of our Lord Jesus. Join us in Him. Pray now about how the Holy Spirit may inspire, move in, and through you.
We open with a light breakfast buffet, as our approach to sharing a meal together, and the breaking of bread in the Lord’s table. Feel free to bring something to share, or not. There is no obligation. There is always plenty. Around the table there is good conversation as we share life, our lives, and invite Jesus to be central in our gathering.
Gatherings are open and participatory. There is no leader, worship leader, “pastor”, nor any hierarchy. Ministry comes out of the Body, as we all seek to follow Jesus, and the inspiration and enabling of the Holy Spirit, in encouraging and helping one another walk with Him and love and serve one another. All are free to share whatever God has put on their heart. There are usually times of prayer, sharing what is happening individually with us, and in the Lord, sharing scriptures, and singing choruses, hymns and spiritual songs.
Children are welcome! However, there is no program specifically for them. We do generally have some discussion initiated by and for school age kids. Children under 10 or so generally play together while adults meet. Older children join adults as a part of our gathering.
What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
1 Corinthians 14:26
He (God) put all things in subjection under His (Jesus) feet, and gave Him (Jesus) as head over all things to the church, which is His (Jesus) body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
